The rock and volcanic desert rewards you with more colors than you expected. Climp a mountain and enjoy the scene, it's probably an unforgetable view.

Or just sit and watch the force of the ocean, it's so impressive and looks different each day.

Action

Fuerteventura is one of the best surfspots in the world, but besides that there are a lot of other things too.

Great sport events like Bicycle Races, Triathlon, Rallysport or the local "Lucha Canaria" wrestling.

It's so exciting, even if you just watch.

Culture

Artisanry Markets, Carnival, Concerts, Museums, there is so many going on.

You should visit one of the local "Fiestas", like the "Juradas en Honor a San Miguel Arcángel" in Tuineje, which is every year in mid-October.

Picturesque old towns and artwork like sculptures or paintings exists all over the island. Keep your eyes open and you will find beauty all the way.

My initial photographic experience originated from the world of sports photography and photo journalism.

After a long time of absence, my love for photography came back and with the beautiful setting of Fuerteventura I have found the perfect place to do a restart.

Sometimes I still use the old way and take analog pictures on 35mm film. That's something like "Yoga for Photographers" :-)
